I had the pleasure of taking pictures for my friend, Taylor, 24th birthday photoshoot. I asked her where she would like to take her pictures and she said Ironworks Hotel and The Alexander Hotel.

As my first professional client photoshoot, I could have not taken pictures at the best locations ever. I literally had a field day and tried my best to hold in my excitement! Both hotels provided a different vibe, one had a rustic but elegant scenery while the second location gave bight and airy with a side of sophistication. But the best part is the amount of natural lighting they provided. Natural lighting is my thang, until I learn the basics of flash photography.

Ironworks Hotel

Ironworks Hotel Indy was the first location. As I stated earlier, this hotel provided an edgier but elegant vibe. I enjoyed the open layout and how there were different seating arrangements.

The Alexander Hotel

The Alexander Hotel made me feel like I was in an art museum. There were endless possibilities when taking pictures at this beautiful hotel. If you are looking for a location that is bright and full of natural light I would definitely recommend taking your next photoshoot here.

One thing I learned about The Alexander Hotel is that this hotel is a photographer hotspot. I ran into 3 other photographer shooting pictures for their clients. I thought that was amazing to see different creatives utilizing a great workspace and were willing to share the space with one another.
