1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Services

Alix Sheree Studio, LLC (“the Studio”) provides professional portrait, event, and wedding photography services. Services are subject to availability and acceptance of a signed agreement and non-refundable retainer to secure your date.

3. Bookings and Payments

  • A non-refundable retainer is required to secure any session or event date. This retainer is applied toward your total session fee.

  • The remaining balance must be paid by the due date listed in your contract or invoice.

  • Retainers are non-refundable, as they cover administrative preparation, date reservation, and potential loss of business.

  • “Retainer” is used instead of “deposit” to clarify that this payment secures services and is not subject to refund.

4. Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Clients may request to reschedule with a minimum of 7 days’ notice before their session.

  • The retainer may be transferred to a new date once, subject to the photographer’s availability.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session result in forfeiture of all fees paid.

5. Image Rights & Usage

  • All photographs remain the copyrighted property of Alix Sheree Studio, LLC unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Clients are granted personal-use rights only, allowing them to share images online or print for personal enjoyment, provided proper credit is given (e.g., “📸 Photography by @alixshereestudio”).

  • Commercial use (including marketing, advertising, portfolio, website, or paid promotions) requires the purchase of a commercial usage license or payment of the commercial rate.

  • The Studio retains the right to use all images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to portfolio, website, social media, printed materials, and advertising, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

6. Image Delivery

  • Images are delivered digitally via Pic-Time online gallery to the client’s provided email address.

  • Typical turnaround time for edited galleries is 7–14 business days after the session date.

  • Delivery times may vary slightly during peak seasons.

7. Liability

  • The Studio is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from events beyond reasonable control (equipment failure, illness, accidents, weather, or force majeure).

  • In the unlikely event the Studio cannot fulfill a booking, the client will receive a refund of all payments made, excluding completed work already delivered.

8. Website Content

All text, images, graphics, and designs on this website are owned by or licensed to Alix Sheree Studio, LLC and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, download, or reproduce any content without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
