The Waiting Period

The waiting period is not always fun and for the most part, it’s uncomfortable, but it is the best place to be in if you are desiring to grow into the person you envision. In this space of waiting you have to continually remind yourself the purpose of this season. This can be challenging because we live in a world full of instant gratification. So as a result, we created the idea of having to wait to be unrealistic. The times that we have to wait for a response is helping us focus on what really matters, listening to what God has planned for us instead of trying to tackle life on our own. You may feel like God is punishing you, but He’s actually saving you from making harmful choices that could be detrimental to your future.

One thing that I am sure of is there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I believe that the light is a sign of hope and direction. Without that light, there would be no reason to hope for a better life and to seek God for direction.

In my eyes, the waiting period is a time when God is showing you how to be present in the midst of a storm and how to trust and rely on him to get you through those hard times. Like I said earlier it not the most comfortable spot, but it’s the best place to be in hindsight. If you are a part of #TCNation (Transformation Church) you know the word for the year is Anchored and that is exactly what God wants you to be in you are going in the deep. There’s no time for wishy-washy faith in the deep. When you are in the deep that is when you can hear God’s voice ever so clear and that’s the voice that going to carry you through those hard times. There may be times you want to give up, but don’t listen to those negative thoughts in your head telling you that you are not qualified enough or who do you think you are? nobody know you exist. Those voices that you hear is the enemy trying to distract you from evolving into your best version of yourself. I don’t think you realize, but the devil is scared of you reaching your fullest potential. So that right there should be enough motivation for you to keep pushing. So don’t fall for his weak attempts.

The waiting period is necessary if you want to continue to grow. Don't shy away from this opportunity. It's either you stay stagnant in life and get frustrated or you take that leap of faith and trust God to lead you through the unknown and love the new place that He has brought you to.
